ShadowsocksX-NG is an user friendly graphical user interface designed to automatically configure your system’s proxy by making use of a GFWList PAC file, which can also be edited by the user. The utility runs a SOCKS5 proxy on your Mac, and allows you to make sure your traffic is protected.

For your convenience, ShadowsocksX-NG places a small menu in your status bar that enables you to quickly toggle the Shadowsocks service, offers you the possibility to switch between the Auto Proxy and Global modes, and provides access to the servers list.
